E’ nata a Shangai da una famiglia di musicisti. Suo padre è un famoso musicologo. Ha cominciato lo studio del pianoforte all’età di quattro anni sotto la guida di Jin Dishan e Zhou Guangren. Già nella sua infanzia Jin Ju ha manifestato un talento musicale straordinario.
Quando aveva nove anni, la Radio Internazionale Cinese ha registrato e ha trasmesso i suoi concerti. Nel 1987 ha cominciato a frequentare la scuola primaria, annessa al Conservatorio Centrale di Musica di Beijing, e da allora ha studiato col famoso maestro Yang Jun. Nel 1992 è stata invitata ad eseguire il 5° Concerto di Beethoven con la Central Symphony Orchestra per il “Beethoven International Music Festival” di Beijng. Nel maggio 1996 ha vinto il primo premio al Concorso “Romanian Musica Internazionale Competition” di Bucarest. Nell’agosto dello stesso anno ha ricevuto il primo premio al “China National Piano Competition” e il premio “Excellent Performer of Chinese Music”. Nel dicembre 2000 ha vinto il primo premio ed i premi speciali di “Best Asian Pianist”, “Best Leschetizky performer” all’ ”Intemational Piano Leschetizky Competition” di Taiwan, dove ha anche ottenuto il premio speciale del pubblico.
In seguito a questa vittoria è stata invitata in Austria dal famoso pianista e compositore austriaco Jörg Demus a registrare un CD. Nel dicembre 2001 è stata premiata nella Beethoven Piano Society of “European Intercollegiate Piano Competition” di Londra. Nel giugno 2002 Jin Ju ha vinto il terzo premio al prestigioso “Concorso Cajkovskji” di Mosca, e nel giugno 2003 si è laureata fra i vincitori del Concorso “Regina Elisabetta” di Bruxelles.
Jin Ju ha suonato come solista con varie orchestre come la BBC Orchestra, la Belgian National Orchestra, l’Orchestra Philarmonique de Lìege, la Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonie, la Jeune Philarmonie de Belgian, la Oslo Symphony Orchestra, la South Africa New Philharmonic, la Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, la Royal Northern College of Music Symphony Orchestra (Manchester), la Macao Symphony Orchestra, la China National Symphony Orchestra, la China Broadcasting Orchestra, la Central Opera Symphony Orchestra, la Beijing Symphony Orchestra, la Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, la Taiwan Gaoxiong City Symphony Orchestra e molte altre.
L’emittente China Central TV (CCTV) e la Beijing TV (BTV) hanno registrato e trasmesso numerosi suoi concerti.
Jin Ju è stata invitata a tenere recitals in Francia, Austria, Inghilterra, Germania, Italia, Polonia, Hong Kong, Sud Africa, Macao, Taiwan, e nelle principali città della Cina.
Dopo avere ottenuto il diploma al Conservatorio di Beijing (dove ora è docente), ha ottenuto un Diploma d’Onore presso l’Accademia Chigiana in Siena dove ha studiato con Michele Campanella, un Diploma al Royal North Music College di Manchester sotto la guida di Martin Roscoe e Kathyrin Stott (ove oggi ricopre il ruolo di Tutor). Si è inoltre perfezionata all'Accademia Internazionale “Incontri col Maestro” di Imola, sotto la guida di Franco Scala, Lazar Berman per il pianoforte, e di Stefano Fiuzzi per il fortepiano e pianoforte romantico. Dal 2002 Jin Ju è Associated Fellow presso il Royal North Music College di Manchester.

Jin Ju was born in Shanghai to a family of musicians. Her father is a renowned musicologist.
She began studying the piano when she was four years old under the direction of Jin Dishan and Zhou Guangren. In her childhood, Jin Ju displayed an unusual musical talent.
When she was nine years old, China International Radio recorded and broadcast her perfomances. In 1987 she entered the primary school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, and since then she received lessons from the famous piano professor Yang Jun. In 1992 she was invited to perform the Beethoven Piano Concerto No.5 with the Central Symphony Orchestra at the “Beethoven International Music Festival” in Beijng. In May 1996 she won the first prize at the third “Romanian International Music Competition” in Bucharest. In August of the same year she received the first prize in the “China National Piano Competition” and the “Excellent Performer of Chinese Music” award. In January 2000, she won the third prize at the “Ninth UNISA International Piano Competition” (South Africa) and the
"Best Performance of South African Music” award. In December 2000 she won the first prize and the titles of “Best Asian Pianist” “Best Leschetizky performer” and “Favourite Pianist Selected by the Audience” at the “First Theodor Leschetizky International Piano Competition” in Taiwan.
She was invited by the famous Austrian pianist and composer Jörg Demus to record a CD in Austria after the competition. In December 2001 she was awarded in the Beethoven Piano Society of European Intercollegiate Piano Competition in London.
In June 2002 Jin Ju won the third prize at the International Cajkovskji Piano Competition in Moscow; in June 2003 she was a Laureate of the “Reine Elisabeth Competition” in Bruxelles.
Jin Ju has performed extensively as a soloist with various orchestras such as BBC Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra, the Orchestra Philarmonique de Lìege, the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonie, the Jeune Philarmonie de Belgian, the Oslo Symphony Orchestra, the South Africa New Philharmonic, the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Northern College of Music Symphony Orchestra (Manchester), the Macao Symphony Orchestra, the China National Symphony Orchestra, the China Broadcasting Orchestra, the Central Opera Symphony Orchestra, the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, the Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, the Taiwan Gaoxiong City Symphony Orchestra and many other Chinese orchestras. China Central TV (CCTV) and Beijing TV (BTV) recorded and broadcast her performances many times.
Over the years Jin Ju was invited to perform in France, Austria, England, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Russia, Romania, South Africa, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and many cities in China. Her successful performances have won her fame as well as awards from the Ministry of Culture of China.
After having obtained her Master Degree from the Central Conservatory in Beijing (where she now has a position of Piano Tutor), a Diploma d’Onore at Accademia Chigiana in Siena where she studied with Michele Campanella, a Diploma and Gold Medal in Professional Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester (RNCM) under the direction of Martin Roscoe and Kathyrin Stott, Jin Ju studied also at the International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola (Italy), with Franco Scala, Lazar Berman, and for performance practice on Fortepiano and Romantic piano with Stefano Fiuzzi. Since 2002, Jin Ju has been Associated Fellow at the RNCM.
